15 Things That Change When...

You have a baby!

Here are some fun facts about how life and perspectives change once having a baby.

1. You finally stop to smell the roses, because your baby is in your arms.

2. Where you once believed you were fearless, you now find yourself afraid.

3. The sacrifices you thought you made to have a child no longer seem like sacrifices.

4. You respect your body... finally.

5. You respect your parents and love them in a new way.

6. You find that your baby's pain feels much worse than your own.

7. You believe once again in the things you believed in as a child.

8. You lose touch with the people in your life whom you should have banished years ago.

9. Your heart breaks much more easily.

10. You think of someone else 234,836,178,976 times a day.

11. Every day is a surprise.

12. Bodily functions are no longer repulsive. In fact, they please you. (Hooray for poop!)

13. You look at your baby in the mirror instead of yourself.

14. You become a morning person.

15. Your love becomes limitless, a superhuman power.

Plus a few from my own experiences these past almost 4 months...

1. You hang a spit rag over your dish towel rack and don't even think twice.

2. You've never wanted more than to be greeted in the morning by your little sweetie's smiles accompanied by a Nespresso!

3. Little baby buns have never been cuter.

4. Toys can be made out of almost anything!

5. You begin thinking about buying shoes for someone else before purchasing the latest pair for yourself.

6. Feeling fatigued is a constant state.

Your baby is beautiful and your list is so true. You will be able to make a list like that every year! And when they spread their wings and fly the nest you are a little sad but so beautifully changed!

Just love your precious little one up- you have years of love and wonderful change ahead of you!

    Beautiful post and baby.

I wish I could post more often but my precious angel takes most of my time during the day so unfortunately blogging goes down on the priority list.
