A Fabulous Fall ~ Full of Classic Fashions!
Hold on to your classics this fall! When tempted, spice them up with one of the season's hottest colors or accessories but besides that all you will need are some smart, sexy, classic ensembles that fit your body to a "T".
Here are some of A Rendez-Vous with Style's favorite fall fashions:
- The Trench
Wear it no matter what and anywhere! It could be the classic khaki Burberry look or mix it up and try this "always chic go-over-anything" in leather, wool or tweed. Be sure to break out this favorite to keep looking sleek, pulled together and toasty when the temps start to drop.
- The Boots
Thigh high boots are in this fall but don't get suckered in to the trend if they don't flatter your body shape or work with your lifestyle. A classic ankle boot or a just-below the knee riding style boot will always be the perfect secret weapon to have in your wardrobe. They can be worn and paired with practically any look!
- The Pencil Skirt
Every woman should have one in black, a subtle pattern for day and something a bit more fun or flashy for evening. They flatter every body shape and if you worry a bit too much about those gorgeous hips of yours, throw on a pair of Spanx underneath and don this classic silhouette without reserve!
*** When in doubt of what to wear, pull out your pencil skirt! This piece of clothing can literally go with anything; it is as comfy as jeans or pants and can be worn with flats, heels or boots. Be sure to call up your trusted makeup artist or stop by your nearest beauty counter at Macy's, Bloomie's or Nordie's to update your colors for the fall. Try a new eye shadow and pick out a beautiful shade of lipstick or gloss. You might have a closet full of great clothes but do you think about your makeup wardrobe? Don't leave this part of your beauty routine in the dust or you risk looking older than you really are and dated.
- The Signature Scent
Or shall I say your signature scent! Just as you have an eye for keeping your clothing wardrobe up-to-date, the Parisian in me also believes in the power of a perfume "wardrobe"! The perfumes you love should have a season of the year associated with them and as we slide into the fall, this is the perfect time to find a warmer scent that you adore! I find it a joy to change my signature scent 4 times a year. It is refreshing, invigorating and fun to see what my nose draws me to next. This doesn't mean I do not have favorites because I most certainly do! This just means that I save my favorites for the appropriate season, just another way to assure in a new phase of life; a new season full of wonderful, unknown life experiences.
Are you picking up on a pattern here yet? All these pieces are easy to mix and match, can be worn by all and instantly bring you a classic style that's easy to maintain.
