On My Mind

I'm feeling a bit random this morning and it doesn't help that all I can think about it this!

My mom and I have been working on the kitchen over the past 5 days. It needs quite a bit of updating and I find it funny how you think a quick, fun thing such as hanging new café style curtains will be easy... then you realize the wood window frames need a lot of TLC prior to the hanging of the curtains! It does feel good to accomplish something that can be so slow, detailed and sometimes tedious. We see the progress and I am happy to be getting this done since my pre-baby goal, if at all possible, is to have every other room "done" {to the best of my capability, budget and time allowance} before le bébé arrives. My hubby and mom will begin attacking the nursery in September.

How absolutely dreamy is this bedroom!!! Light, airy and oh-so Parisian! I stumbled upon this photo this morning over at The Paris Apartment. The bed linens look so comfy, I adore the soft green bedside table and those roses, they just set off the whole look of the room for me. I could very well see myself spending quite a few restful, Parisian nights in a room like this!!
Let me just say... Paris has been on my mind lately... A LOT!

Introducing another site I just found this morning,
Oooh la la Cadeau. They have absolutely lovely gift ideas; something special, beautiful and mostly French-inspired for all occasions! Be sure to check them out here.

Delight the Marie Antoinette wannabe with this fun, flirty, and feminine ensemble
filled with all things Pink & Parisian.

Imported from Paris, this gorgeous box of notecards & envelopes is a tres chic gift that lets her personalize each card and envelope with any of the 12 Parisian-themed rubber stamps.

Romantic presentation and this heavenly fragrance will take her breath away. Glass decanter filled with perfumed Bath Foam, a romantic Pillow Mist, and heart-shaped scented soap will have her dreaming of love. Imported from France.

That's it for today! I am off to run errands, visit a friend and try to complete my never-ending to do list, with a Starbucks in hand of course!

Bisous,
Kelli

      Bonjour La Mom,
      Kelli
