Birthday Wish List ~ Recessionista Style
Happy Friday!
Another week is quickly coming to a close; I have been so busy and unfortunately have had less time to blog than I would like. I am about the run out the door for a few hours of errands before leaving tonight for Palm Springs! But I just had to jump on and wish you all a wonderful weekend!
Julie suggested, last week, that I post my birthday wish list. Honestly, I am so in money-saving mode that I really had to think of what I need or want, plus keeping my wishes in budget perspective... whew, I'm exhausted. Of course there is always my dream of owning a Kelly bag... however I know that needs to wait and I am completely ok with that.
Hey, I'm just thankful I get to jet off to O'ahu for a few days... that's all the birthday I need. However, dreaming and "fake" shopping is always fun so here it goes!
My birthday wish list, recessionista style:
* Fashion/Couture coffee table books
- Chanel, Balenciaga, Valentino, YSL, etc.
* A Handbag for spring & summer
- Loving the nude colors right now! Also, I have recently seen some amazing turquoise bags.
* OPI nail colors for pretty nails all summer long!
* Gift cards are always wonderful and very handy.
- Nordstrom, Marshall's, Starbuck's, etc.
* Massage/Spa certificate
- What woman doesn't enjoy a relaxing, rejuvenating spa treatment?!!
* P-Touch Label Maker
- Yes, I love to organize and I can't get any further without a label maker! Call me crazy but I love this little machine!
I am sure I could come up with more fun things for my wish list but honestly, I am in such a great place right now. I am loving this feeling of contentment and everything else is just icing on my birthday cake!

Yes you definitely need a label maker! It's the best thing ever!
I've started to save up for a white Chanel Classic bag (saving for a Kelly or Birkin would take too long!). According to my calculations, as long as the price doesn't continue to rise too drastically I have another 2.5(5) years...

I'm also in a "saving mode" right now and you know what? it's not THAT bad...at the end of the day, we realize that we don't really need all that stuff anyways...
