Domino: The Book of Decorating
Monday morning I posted about the loss of Domino Magazine, a mag that I have loved for quite some time now. Each month brought inspiration, interesting ideas and refreshing prospectives on home décor directly to my door step. Following an email that Claudia, my dear friend over at The Paris Apartment, received from Nina Schwartz, Associate Marketing Manager at Simon & Schuster, I decided I would email Nina as well. Here is her response:
Hi Kelli,
I would love for you to do a giveaway as well! You can organize it however you’d like. It looks like Claudia is doing a straight giveaway, but other blogs have been running contests, asking entrants to send in favorite Domino memories or photos, post about Domino on their own blogs, or write about how Domino has inspired them. I’ll mail you two books, and you can take it from there! I’d just love to be kept updated on the relevant posts and the results.

What an exciting giveaway!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Domino Magazine and I'm so sad that they are finished.
I am getting ready to move. We are getting our current home ready to rent out and would love to use some basic tips for making it friendly to the largest audience.
Since we are keeping our house, we will be renting another home to live in somewhere else. Given the area, it is sure to be a much smaller home and I would use any ideas the books have for not only making my home friendly and comfortable, but also to make the smaller spaces look larger and more inviting and productive!!

Here's another example of why of I love your blog, Kelli. I'm always learning about new and exciting things. Thank you! I wasn't familiar with Domino Magazine until earlier this week, but fell in love with it right away. Those photos were amazing!
And this book looks awesome! I would wear it out right away looking for ideas and inspiration as we are decorating our new home. I need all the help I can get right now. I would especially like to see the ideas for kids rooms.

Okay, I really, really want to redo my bedroom this year. I've been looking around for great design ideas and all that good stuff, especially working in a somewhat small space, but making it fabulous! =)

How fun to be having a give-away!

i'm so sad...i love domino. it's cute and easy and fun and pretty. sad. it's just sad. i came over from SITS...and i find this terrible news. i'll have to come back another day for good news!
