Tuleh ~ The Perfect Blend of Modern Retro & Updated Classics
Tuleh, I am in love with your Spring line! Thank you for embracing women, our shapes, our desires and our love for gorgeous, feminine clothing!
As New York launches its Fashion Week, I am at home in California. I love the Golden State but for just one week, I wish I was in the Big Apple, rain or shine! Since I can't be there, for the Fall 2009 runway shows, let's focus on Spring since it is right around the corner and you need to get prepared and ready to show off that skin that has been hiding all winter long!
Tuleh's design are flawless, timeless classics that are easy to wear, feminine and sexy! What more could a woman want?!? Now... all I need is a trip to New York to visit one of the best department stores in the world, Bergdorf Goodman.

Smokin' hot for Valentine's Day festivities! A sexy {and comfortable} option for tomorrow!
This dress is a feminine classic, The pencil skirt shows off your shape while
one you will go to time and time again! the puff sleeve top offers room to breathe {and eat!}

Now this is one beautifully versatile dress, one that would look
flattering on almost any body shape!
Style Tip: Throw on a cardigan for a more pulled together, daytime look or bring it down a notch with a cropped denim jacket.
Outfit Idea: Add a black leather bomber jacket, red opaque tights and black or gray boots for a rocker chic look that works for day as well as evening. Not your style? Then add a crisp white blouse, charcoal gray tights and a red pump for a pretty, office-appropriate power outfit.

Two wardrobe staples combined for a graceful look with just a hint of sexy!
You can never go wrong with a pencil skirt and a feminine blouse.
Style Tip: Keep these separates in mind when shopping however be sure to choose a blouse that you love for its cut, pattern and/or color palette. Each piece should make you feel amazing and have the potential to form at least 5 more
looks with other pieces already in your closet.
Outfit Idea: Keep on this beautiful blouse, throw on a pair of straight leg or skinny jeans and add a sleeveless long cardigan and a pair of boots. Voilà, ready for a night out!

A bright look for spring!
Style Tip: If you would like to wear a top like the one above but are concerned about a bit of a tummy, feel free to do a look like this one just aim for a top or blouse that has a peplum at the bottom. This fashionable bit of extra fabric offers a great look and is a secret weapon for camouflaging a tummy. Don't go too large though... it will throw your proportions off.

Peplum blouses available at Macy's
Knowing that we are all working with a tighter budget these days, I want to assure you that you can mimic these looks without buying designer! I will always encourage you to invest in classic, foundational pieces however sales are in abundance, vintage stores are stocked full and you never know what you might find at a local thrift store with the tags still on!
Until next time...
Embrace the beautiful woman you are and focus on the classics in order to assure a closet full of hundreds of outfit options!
Happy Valentine's Day,
Kelli

Hi Kelli,
Love the spring looks especially the peplum blouse. I might be able to wear that but the pencil skirt...not until I lose the 10 plus pounds I gained over the winter.
Your sachets are on their way.

Dearest Kris,
I would like to encourage you to try a pencil skirt, despite the 10 pounds you speak of. They are amazingly flattering on! As I say to my clients, you should always dress your body how it is now {embrace all of it

I love the first red dress!! I'm in search of a red suit to wear for speaking engagements - red is my "signature color". I've been looking for the last year, to no avail, and think when push comes to shove I'm going to have to have one made.
Thanks for an introduction to a new designer!

Dear Diva,
You need to come to California so we can shop together for your power suit! I am sure we could find just what you need. But then again, I could meet you in Paris or Milan for a private fitting with a couturier as well!

I agree with you - invest in the classics. I go to H&M for a few cheapo trendy pieces to mix with the classics that is outdated after one season.
