Who She Chose...
The new 1st Lady of the USA, Michelle Obama, chose to wear a sparkling pale yellow-gold sheath dress with matching coat by Cuban-born American designer Isabel Toledo to the inauguration this morning in Washington, D.C. She added green leather gloves from J.Crew and teal kitten heels. She looked radiant and I love that she chose to wear something so embellished for a daytime occasion! The beading beautifully caught the rays of the sun even though the temperature this morning in the nation's capitol was bitterly cold.

Mrs. O has done a brilliant job supporting and promoting lesser known American designers and I look forward to seeing more of her fashionable choices on a weekly, if not daily, basis!

I stayed home from class today to watch the day's events, one being Michelle's wardrobe choice!

I was a little disappointed. I was expecting a lot more I suppose. The new Jackie O I do not think she is. Let's see if she redeems herself for me tonight.
