Enjoying the Christmas Season
Well, the Christmas season and other end of the year holidays are upon us!
I am sure you are feeling the time crunch, just as I am! It is definitely the busiest time of year and it is easy to get caught up in the stress and pressure of finding the perfect gifts, attending festive fêtes and sending out Christmas cards among a myriad of other "to-do's".
So, just a quick post today to remind us all to count our blessings this season and to be thankful for all that we have! Whether you are sitting in the snow, lounging in the sun or decorating in dreary gray, I am thankful for each and every one of you and wish you all a wonderful Christmas season!

Until we return from Canada, after the New Year, I plan to post 3 times a week instead of 5. This doesn't mean I am thinking of you any less, it is just the honest truth that I am behind on decorating, gift wrapping, Christmas card writing and I am now starting to stress out a bit. Thank you all for understanding!
Also, if you have a favorite hors d'oeuvre recipe that is easy and yummy, please share it with me! I am looking for a little culinary inspiration for a small party we are having this weekend.
Until next time...
Enjoy the joy of this season, wrap up a gift for Toys for Tots and sit back with a hot cup of cocoa!

My hubby and I, last year, in front of the beautifully decorated Christmas tree at the Hotel Del Coronado.
The bar at The Del is one of our favorite places to relax with a drink or share dessert and cozy up together. If you haven't ever visited or haven't been down to this spectacular hotel resort in a while, it is a magical place to visit during the Christmas season!

What a wonderful picture of you and your husband! You make a very attractive couple. Enjoy your holiday preparations even if they do stress you out a bit. For me, it's the whole season that is fun and not just Christmas Day.

Kris, Thank you!! I appreciate your sweet, kind words!
I wish we could have a Christmas bloggy party all together... someday when we can bleep ourselves, we will all meet in Colmar to experience one of the best Marché de Noël on the planet!

Thank you Lindsey! I miss you all, already! Maybe I will try to post more, just not as long as my usual posts.
I am feeling a bit drained and look to the Canadian winter wonderland to revive my creativity! Reindeer anyone?

I hope you had nice holidays!
I love l'hotel del coronado. It reminds me when I spent my vacations in San Diego.
