Happy Friday! Kreativ Blogger Award
Thank you to Beloved MaMa for my Kreativ Blogger Award!!! Truth be told, she awarded me 2 weeks ago and I have obviously lagged on posting it. So, in the happy spirit of it being Friday {yippie!} we are celebrating here at A Rendez-Vous with Style while enjoying the blog's 2nd Kreativ Blogger award!
In order to fully accept this award, I must answer a few fun questions and then bestow the award onto 7 more wonderfully creative blogs. So, here we go!
Seven things I did before:
1. Worked the opening of Seau's the Restaurant when Jr. Seau was still playing for the Chargers
2. Lived abroad
3. Spent my summers, as a child, at the beach playing in the sand and surf
4. Worked at a summer camp in central California
5. Lived in the same house my whole life prior to my "big move"
6. Studied French in college
7. Was captain of the cheer squad in high school
Seven things I do now:
1. Work
2. Keep my house running {somewhat smoothly}
3. Shop!
4. Blog
5. Continue learning how to be a wife, friend, daughter, sister and an "in-law"
6. Spend time with family and friends
7. Plan for Christmas! I love Christmas... all the feelings and events that surround that period of the year is just magical.
Seven things I would like to do:
1. Travel the world
2. Continue meeting new people
3. Write a book
4. Plant, cultivate and grow my own herb garden
5. Speak fluent Italian & Spanish {long term projects!}
6. Design clothing or shoes
7. Live abroad again
Seven favorite foods:
1. Hummus
2. Fresh, organic & yummy fruits and veggies
3. Nutella on toasted multi-grain baguette
4. Thai cuisine
5. Coffee at Galeries Lafayette on the gourmet floor {that place is practically like heaven!}
6. Macarons from Ladurée
7. Anything made with high quality dark chocolate
Seven of my favorite shops/stores/boutiques:
1. Nordstrom
2. Target
3. Boutiques in the Marais district of Paris
4. J. Crew
5. Hermès
6. Vintage resale shops
7. Edgy boutiques & collections from around the globe
Seven of my favorite locations around the world:
1. California
2. France
3. Europe
4. Hawai'i
5. Hume Lake
6. Canada
7. My house

Hi Kelli,
I really enjoyed reading your blog which I found indirectly thru Paris Breakfasts and connecting to all things french. I too studied French in junior high school throughout college, one of my 7 is to live in Paris part time. Anyway, to find time....I listen to french tapes, cds, radio, bbc, anything to immerse myself while I drive, clean house, work, etc. Thought I'd pass the tip along,
