Boutiquing in Del Mar

Happy Friday Everyone!

My hubby and I had a great time hiding out at L'Auberge Del Mar last week! It is a beautiful resort, complete with a staff worthy of 5*s, a bed I never wanted to get out of and a gorgeous view of the sunset right from the pool deck {or our balcony}!

Raspberry mojito anyone?

Del Mar is full of wonderful little boutiques and I couldn't pass up snapping some pics of my downtown favorites to share with you!  This post highlights just a handful of the boutiques that abound in this beautiful beachy-chic community. Head inland, across the I-5, to other favorites like Mattie D., Tatiana Del Mar, Peaches En Regalia and Lily Grace Boutique . While Lily Grace is technically located in Pacific Beach, I love this boutique and just had to list it even though it is not in Del Mar!

Jolie Femme "Pretty Woman"
One of the best boutiques in town for lingerie, sleepwear, easywear, gifts & accessories

Gerhard
Upscale women’s fashion boutique
They stock Diptyque candles {my fave!} along with Christian Louboutin shoes!

Cute corner florist downtown Del Mar

Ryan's Collection
This boutique carries fun, upscale fashions for both men and women

Sundancer
Great quality, relaxed clothing. A bit pricey but check out the room they have dedicated to sale items and you are sure to find a deal!

Annmarie D'Ercole
I had a great time browsing around this boutique and chatting with the lovely young lady working there. I scored two adorable tops, perfect for the fall, and both were on sale!

Also abounding on the main strip are designer resale shops. Since my hubby is not one who appreciates the sport of shopping, I was unable to sleuth around this past week, however I do vow to return soon with one mission in mind... designer for less!!!
With the economy the way it is right now, I am happy to find some wallet friendly items from labels and designers such as Chanel, Armani and St. John. Carolyn's Designer Resale and Always Fabulous are just a couple of these shops in Del Mar, not to mention many others located just up the coast in Encinitas, Carlsbad and Oceanside.

Driving up the coast, along the old 101, be sure to stop off at the adorable home decorating stores and numerous boutiques that line way.

Bon Bon "Candy"
Home décor, antiques and more!

I am certain my dear friend The Antiques Diva, along with fellow francophile Claudia over at The Paris Apartment and I would immensely enjoy browsing this warehouse packed with antiques and European inspired goods for the home and garden! Chandeliers dangle from the ceiling and antique linens spill over the sides of an old armoire. I carefully made my way around gorgeous bedroom & living room furniture along with other fabulous home décor items. This yummy store abounds with lovely gift ideas for any occasion and anyone! My hubby found a pair of fleur-de-lis bookends that I fell in love with {Yes, I die!} and needless to say, had to take back to "chez nous" for our new bookshelf!

Until next time...
Enjoy a quick getaway close to "chez vous", pick up a special find along the way and revel in your time away from the daily grind!

Kelli

It was a spectacular sunset!

Del Mar looks like the place to be (wish it were closer) - what a great post. Thank you for adding me to the fab faves- I am fab flattered.
The photograph you asked about is an add for Roberto Cavalli on the rue Faubourg St Honore - it was covering builders scaffolding and all their mess beneath. I loved the whole scene when I saw it in the distance and couldn't help snapping away. xv

Kelli, you are absolutely stunning! I love reading your blog to get fashion tips. Would you ever consider doing individual cities every once in a while? I'd love some style tips at local boutiques here in Kansas City.

      Jen, Thank you!
I would love to write posts on individual cities. That is a great idea! I might need a little help though, so you and Annabelle now have a serious excuse to hit the boutiques!
