A Touch Of Vintage Glam

Red Ruby Rose
Original Silk Lined Clutches

A few weeks ago I found these amazingly gorgeous handmade clutches on Etsy. "Fait à la main", unique and a must-have for your handbag collection!

Featuring Rowena Dugdale and her brilliantly glamorous, vintage inspired clutches.

I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a BA in printed textiles and have spent the past 10 years illustrating (www.rowenadugdale.com). The move into clutch purses was accidental - I made some for friends and family over Christmas and loved making them so much I started selling on Etsy. I never thought they'd be so popular and now I'm juggling this with my illustration work. Oh, and I front indie-pop band Santa Dog (www.santa-dog.co.uk), so busy times!

Check out Rowena's new collection which is running alongside her current collection of vintage and contemporary fabrics at http://redrubyrose.etsy.com

Current favorites made from vintage and contemporary fabric:

silk peacock feathers - luxury clutch bag  Fiery poppy silk-lined clutch bag

Yellow seedheads silk-lined clutch bag  Marbled green silk-lined clutch bag

Also, thanks for posting your pic from the restaurant Rioja. That happens to be my hubby & I's favorite wine & we're taking a trip to Denver next year, so we'll definitely try that restaurant!

Christina, I knew you would love these! Maybe the peacock one should be put on your Christmas list!
I am vying for one as well but it is SO difficult to choose. I love them all!

Rioja is a wonderful restaurant {and yes, the wine was delicious!} My hubby and I were there in March to celebrate my birthday and visit with 3 sets of very dear friends. I can honestly say that my lunch at Rioja was one of the best meals I have had in 2008!!! You and Mike will enjoy every awe-inspiring bite or sip!

Hi Kelli, these are just gorgeous! I'm in love with the peacock. It's hard to believe they're done by hand, what a lost (and rediscovered) art! I'm glad you stopped by, please come back cause I just posted about a dilemma and would love your opinion
